Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport or Railway Station, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. The afternoon is at leisure for rest and personal activities. In the evening, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the renowned Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh, Cheshmashahi, and Shalimar Bagh – known for their beautiful layout and historical significance. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast leave from Srinagar and drive towards Sonmarg. Sonmarg (2800Mtrs above sea level), which means ' meadow of gold ' has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer, snow trout can be caught in the main river. The visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight in Srinagar at Hotel.
Early in the morning, drive to Gulmarg (altitude 2,730 meters), famously known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” A picturesque hill station and popular skiing destination in winters, Gulmarg is a year-round attraction. One of the highlights of Gulmarg is the Gulmarg Gondola, among the highest cable cars in the world (ticket on direct payment basis), offering panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. You may also choose to visit Khilanmarg, a serene and scenic spot known for its breathtaking natural beauty. In the evening, return to Srinagar. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Pahalgam (altitude 2,440 meters), also known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Avantipur ruins, which hold historical and archaeological significance. Pahalgam is a beloved destination for nature lovers and is famously associated with the Indian film industry. While in Pahalgam, you may choose to explore the scenic Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Aru Valley (optional, at your own expense), each offering breathtaking landscapes and tranquil surroundings. In the evening, check in to the hotel at Pahalgam. The evening is free for leisure activities. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival, visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, which offers panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. Next, visit the revered Hazratbal Shrine, located on the northern shores of Dal Lake and known for its spiritual significance. Later in the evening, transfer to the houseboat and check in. Enjoy a serene Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake, soaking in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and Mughal gardens. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the houseboat.
Breakfast at the house boat. In time transfer to Srinagar Airport to board flight for Delhi. Or depart by buses or trains.
